Jesse Allen has been making signs since 1974. He started carving signs for gifts and one thing lead to another. He started in an old barn full of mice and dust. He then went on to graduated from Butera School of Art, Sign Painting Division in 1978. He then moved on to his first sign shop in Hingham, Massachusetts and Harbor Sign Company began.

During his years in Hingham he lived through losing his shop in a fire and moved twice in the same complex until the building was rebuilt. After 25 years his building once again was destroyed, but not by fire, by progress. A new waterfront development was built in it's place. Jesse then moved his shop back to the beautiful coastal town of Scituate, Massachusetts. Click here for a song.
